NIKA VON HOFFNUNG CGC RN RA CD NAJ. Nika and her brother, Ranger, represent the culmination of twenty years of breeding here at Candle Hill Shepherds. Not only is she a beautiful red sable long coat, but her temperament takes us back to our original dog, Tag von Hoffnung. Like Tag, Nika is easy to train, loyal, and eager to work. Her pedigree includes many of our favorite dogs, on her dam’s side: Little Bear, Bristol, Valiant, Cardinal, Piper, Max, Wessa, Tag, Dagger and on her sire’s Rohan and Jake.
Shade Ulmich Team, daughter to VA1(PL, NL), VA2(PL, CA), V3 BSZS 2016 Grisu vom Frankengold IPO III, KKL1, was imported to Candle Hill in February, 2020. Shade’s pleasant demeanor and stunning beauty make her a welcome addition to our breeding program.
HAZEL VON HOFFNUNG Hazel is the beautiful long coated red sable puppy which we kept from Rohan and Little Bear, a matching taking us back to our Foundation Dogs. She shows great aptitude for Search and Rescue, Obedience, and Agility, in keeping with the great dogs in her pedigree. Her siblings from a later litter, Nika and Ranger, are also excelling at everything that is asked of them.
Ginger von Hoffnung has many of our own Foundation Dogs in her pedigree, including International Champion Cardinal Vom Sparthof BH, RN, RA, CD, THDN, CGC, International Champion Jake vom Kanas CD, BH, RN, JJ-N, JJ-S, International Champion Keeper Von Hoffnung RN, BH, CD, and her sire, International Champion Valiant vom Kistha Haus BH, CD, RN, RA. She is a lovely dog, with a sweet loving temperament and plenty of drive for work.
EMBER VON HOFFNUNG is a puppy we kept from our own International Champion Keeper Von Hoffnung CD, BH, RN and Shade Ulmich Team our import from Poland. Ember is known for her calm and steady temperament, loving and kind, wise and willing.
Bonny Blue is the puppy, born from our friend’s great dog Ozzie, ABSOLUT VOM MK HAUS BH, CGC, TKN and INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION UCH SG1 NATCH ISABELLA LENYA VON WARIN BH RN TKN TKI CGCA CGC SPOT ON VSWI VHM. We are privileged to bring Bonny into our breeding program.
