Argus Maximus "Max" Von Hoffnung

INT’L CH ARGUS MAXIMUS VON HOFFNUNG SEARCH AND RESCUE DOG, H.O.T. “MAX” Handler owned, trained, and utilized on searches, our beautiful son of Tag and Dagger, followed in his mother, Tag’s, footsteps as our Search and Rescue Dog, on call with the Sheriff’s Departments of both Washington and Idaho. With a flash of red, Max would bound off to find the lost with a work ethic not soon to be forgotten. Max’s coloring and coat type is Red Sable, long coat.

Gone, But Never Forgotten

Maximus is the puppy out of Tag and Dagger that we kept for ourselves. Following his mother’s footsteps, he became a Search and Rescue Dog on the team of Mountain West Rescue Dogs serving Idaho and Washington. His specialty is Scent Discriminating Wilderness Area Search, though he is also trained in urban tracking and cadaver. Even as a young dog, Max was showing the outgoing focused personality we are looking for, boldly going out searching for his subject during trainings. He is a rather extravagant burst of energy, but when he is not searching, he is a most loveable, huggable fellow. You can’t help but love this dog!
