Expected puppies due in March 2025, black and red long coats and red sable long coats.
Ranger von Hoffnung CGC, CD, RN, NA, NAJ and Ember von Hoffnung puppies expected March 21, 2025 with a take home date of May 16, 2025.
This is a repeat of last year’s breeding of Ranger and Ember. As we hear back from our Puppy Families, the temperament as well as beauty of that litter is hitting the mark for our goals in breeding these twenty plus years. Ranger, himself, quintessentially Candle Hill in beauty and performance, though only just three years old, is piling up titles in Obedience and Agility competitions. His character is most desirable. He has the ability to switch from calm to drive and back again, making him a most fun dog to work, while also being a comforting companion. Ember, for her part, is completely winsome, fun to play, but even more, a calm companion by my side. We expect beautiful long coated puppies with the Candle Hill temperament of loyalty, willingness to please, and trainabiity. All puppies will be long coated.

PLANNED BREEDINGS
We are planning on breeding our outstanding Nika (Nika Von Hofffnung CGC CD CDX RN RA NA NAJ) to our up and coming stud dog, Tobbs (Tobias von Hoffnung CGC). Tobbs is son to Valiant and Shade.
Bear is in the line up also, with plans to use him to sire a 100% DDR litter with our new female, Merit vom MK Haus. These will be black and bicolor, DDR puppies, with thick bone and significant substance. Their temperament should be like their parents with a combination of power with affection, courage with willingness to please. It will be a line breeding on some significant DDR dogs, Enno Stasi and Rasputin vom Flassgraben to name a few.

All puppies come microchipped, having had routine deworming, and their first vaccination. Our breeding program is now DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) CLEAR, such that none of our breeding pairs carry the gene for DM. All of our puppies will be DM clear. Furthermore, parents of our puppies have been screened against hip and elbow dysplasia, having had their hips and elbows x-rayed and evaluated by the OFA or SV to be sure that they have healthy bone structure to pass onto their offspring.
